James R. Agley | President
Jim has more than fifteen years of corporate finance experience in private equity and mergers and acquisitions. His career comprises private and public sector investing from both a strategic and financial investor perspective. Jim sets Talon's strategic direction, runs day-to-day operations, enforces our corporate governance program, and collaborates closely with our operating companies. Jim was formerly Talon's Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions with responsibility for acquisitions, integration and management of portfolio companies. Prior to joining Talon, Jim was an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand and co-founded a successful financial services business. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and resides in Grosse Pointe Park with his wife, Rosario, and their four children. Email

Randolph J. Agley | Chairman of the Board
Randy has over 30 years of experience in investing. Randy assists in transaction sourcing, due diligence, investment decisions, portfolio corporate governance, and advising on exit strategies. He attended the University of Michigan, earning his undergraduate degree with "high distinction" from the School of Business Administration in 1964, and his Master's Degree in Business Administration the following year. He joined the Detroit office of the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen and Company and rose to the position of manager in the small business division. His responsibilities included extensive consulting in the areas of finance, mergers, acquisitions, start-ups and initial public offerings. In addition to his business and philanthropic endeavors, Randy is a board member of many charitable, civic and educational organizations. Randy and his wife, Judith Ann Benson, reside in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan and have two adult sons, James and Joseph. Email

Chris M. Gannon | Vice President
Chris has more than thirteen years of private equity, mergers and acquisition, and operations experience. Chris currently manages Talon's acquisition program and also collaborates with Talon's operating companies to implement the Talon System based on Lean Thinking. Previously, he functioned as an operating partner to several large private equity funds through Caledonia Group. Prior to this, Chris was involved in turnarounds and restructurings with XRoads Solutions and mergers, acquisitions and financings with Dresner Partners and Piper Jaffray. He is an honors graduate of the University of Michigan (B.S.E. in Industrial and Operations Engineering). Chris and his wife, Paige, reside in Huntington Woods, Michigan with their two children. He is a two-time Ironman triathlete and a ultra-distance marathoner. Email
